the 23° edition of "concorso enologico Enoconegliano" gives us the special prize "Tullio De Rosa" to the product PROSECCO SUPERIORE DOCG extra-dry "vigna del paradiso"
The competition assigns the special prize "Tullio De Rosa" to sparkling wine, produced with fermentation in an autoclave or with fermentation in the bottle, belonging to the Extra Brut, Brut, Extra Dry and Dry types which obtained the best score ever, provided that minimum threshold of 85 cents based on the “Union Internationale des Oenologues” valuation method.
The selection operations, divided into four sessions, officially opened on Thursday 15 July 2021 on the occasion of a meeting during which the event was presented.
The commissioners, divided into five commissions, each made up of 4 oenologists and a journalist, evaluated 493 samples presented by 169 companies representing the provinces of Belluno, Padua, Treviso, Venice, Verona and Vicenza. The final result of each sample was calculated, after eliminating the card with the highest score and the one with the lowest score, through the arithmetic average of the 3 remaining cards.
For each wine that has obtained the Dama d'Oro, Silver Seal, Bronze Seal or a special award, the Dama Castellana - Enoconegliano Association will guarantee the pouring on the occasion of the "Veneto Wine Stars - Enoconegliano 2021" event which takes place held at the former Convent of San Francesco in Conegliano on 24, 25 and 26 September 2021. The proclamation of all the winning wines will also take place as part of this event.
